Mission Statement

 

The mission of Veteran Awareness Transition is to provide veterans and military families with awareness programs and services that will empower them, support transitions from military to civilian life and end hunger, homelessness, unemployment, and other service connected challenges which impact the livelihood of men and women who serve our country.

About  VAT

VAT is a 501(c)3 tax exempt non-profit veterans organization founded  in 2012 by  Malanie Jordan, military spouse and her brother, SGT Joseph Boyd, US Marine , Vietnam Veteran (RIP 2015) to address service connected challenges of veterans and military families. VAT is committed to providing quality programs and services that foster socioeconomic support to veterans and military families regardless of race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender, religion, disability, or socioeconomic status.  The organization is managed by veterans, military spouses,  family members & friends of veterans. - Vets Helping Vets
